Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

This policy explains what information ExitReady collects, why, and how it is handled. ExitReady provides an independent, written buyer's-perspective assessment of a business. We collect only what we need to qualify, scope, and produce that assessment, and to stay in touch with you about it.

The short version. We collect the information you choose to share through our forms and email. We use it only to assess your business and communicate with you. We do not sell it, and we do not share it except with the limited service providers that help us operate. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

Who we are

ExitReady is operated by Chaitanya Gowande. For any privacy question, or to request access to or deletion of your information, contact us at the email address listed on our website.

What we collect

We collect information in two stages, matching how our service works.

When you complete the intake questionnaire (before any payment): your name, email address, business name and website, and the answers you provide about your business, given as broad ranges rather than exact figures. This lets us understand whether and how we can help.

If you proceed to a paid assessment: the more detailed answers you provide in the diagnostic questionnaire, which may include specific information about your operations, customers, team, and finances. You decide how much to share. We request this only after purchase, and we treat it as strictly confidential.

We may also collect basic technical information automatically when you visit our website, such as general analytics about pages viewed. We do not use this to identify you personally.

Why we collect it

Confidentiality

The information you share about your business is treated as strictly confidential. It is used only to produce your assessment and to communicate with you. We do not sell it, rent it, or disclose it to third parties for their own use. If you would prefer a formal mutual non-disclosure agreement in writing before sharing sensitive detail, we are happy to provide one on request.

How your information is stored and shared

We use a small number of trusted service providers to operate, and your information may be processed by them solely to provide their service to us. These currently include our form and data-capture provider, our email provider, our website host, and our payment provider. Each processes only what is necessary, and we do not authorise them to use your information for their own purposes.

We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

Payment information

Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider. ExitReady does not collect or store your card or banking details. Those are handled directly and securely by the payment provider under their own terms and security standards.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as needed to provide the service and for a reasonable period afterward to support follow-up and our records. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, and we will do so unless we are required to retain it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, to withdraw consent, and to object to certain uses. To exercise any of these, contact us at the email address on our website and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Data across borders

ExitReady operates from India and serves founders in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia, among others. Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live. We take reasonable steps to protect it wherever it is handled.

Children

Our service is intended for business owners and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
